Suno vs ElevenLabs Music: Verified Fields Compared (2026)
Suno vs ElevenLabs Music on the six verified dimensions: vocal control, lyrics, structure, maximum length, stems and commercial tier. Weighted scores 87.0 and 94.0.
Verdict: On the 2026.10 method, ElevenLabs Music scores higher, 94.0 against 87.0. The seven-point gap comes from two dimensions, maximum length and stem export, and it depends on the ElevenLabs stems line that is still being re-checked. Choose ElevenLabs Music if you need a longer documented generation, stems on a paid plan, and section-level regeneration. Choose Suno if your workflow runs on its daily free allowance, its Premier editing tools, or its own-voice feature on Pro, and you accept that commercial rights follow your download quota.
This comparison covers two tools that produce complete tracks with sung vocals. It uses only fields that each vendor’s official pages state. Where a field is not publicly disclosed, the comparison says so.

Scores are out of 100. The weighted total is the sum of each dimension’s points times its weight. Suno’s D4 is 80 because 8 minutes is 0.8 of the 10-minute scale; ElevenLabs’ D4 is 100.

Suno’s pricing page opened on its annual view, so this comparison quotes only that view. Suno’s monthly prices were not re-checked on this edition and are not used anywhere in the scores. ElevenLabs’ first-month offers ($1 and $11) are promotions and are not used as list prices.
Where Suno wins
Suno’s free tier refreshes daily, at 50 credits per day. ElevenLabs’ free tier is a monthly pool of 10k credits. Those shapes suit different testers, and the method does not weight free-tier shape.
Suno also documents a Premier editing tool that replaces or adds a section, and an own-voice feature on its paid tiers. Both are real product strengths. In our scoring they earn the same points ElevenLabs earns for its equivalent items, which is why the gap is narrow.
Where ElevenLabs Music wins
ElevenLabs documents the longer single-generation ceiling, 10 minutes against Suno’s 8, although the ElevenLabs figure is an API parameter maximum. It also lists stems on its paid tiers, up to 6 on Pro, where Suno lists separation types. Stems are a file-level output, while separation is a splitting step, and our method scores them differently: 100 for exported stems, 60 for separation alone.
Its terms also give a clearer commercial picture on paper. Self-serve commercial use is allowed, but film, TV and game-studio output sits outside it, and the Starter tier is labelled “no streaming”. Suno’s commercial right is real, but it is tied to downloads counted against your monthly allocation.
Who each tool suits
- Choose ElevenLabs Music if you need a longer single generation, exportable stems, and a paid plan that states commercial use in writing, and you can check the streaming and film exclusions.
- Choose Suno if your work fits its daily free allowance, its Premier editing, or its own-voice feature, and you can track your monthly download count against each release.
Evidence and method
Sources are the two vendors’ pricing, product, FAQ, help and API pages, plus Suno’s terms, read on 2026-10-16. The Suno help article was read from a search snippet, not the full page. Suno’s monthly prices were not read, because the page opened on the annual view. Two items are open. First, ElevenLabs’ stems column has not been matched to tiers on a second read. If the stems line were not confirmed, ElevenLabs’ total would fall to 90.0 and still rank first; with no stems and no separation it would fall to 77.75 and Suno would lead. Second, Suno’s 8-minute figure rests on a search excerpt. Limits: the comparison does not measure audio quality, and a vendor can revise its pages after this check. The full field list is in the 2026 results page.
FAQ
Which is better for a finished sung song, Suno or ElevenLabs Music?
On our six-dimension method, ElevenLabs Music scores 94.0 and Suno scores 87.0. The gap comes entirely from maximum song length and stem export. The two tools tie on the other four dimensions, and the shape of each free tier is not part of the method.
Which tool allows a longer single generation?
ElevenLabs' API documents a ceiling of 600000 ms, which is 10 min. Suno's help center documents up to 8 minutes per generation. Both are stated limits, not promises about each output.
Can I use either tool for a paid release?
Each tool's commercial right depends on its tier. Suno's commercial right depends on permitted downloads within your monthly allocation. ElevenLabs excludes film, TV and Studio Games, and its Starter tier lists no streaming. Read the terms before any release.
